*kdso : Hello goddessargon! I am glad that I have been chosen for this interview. Thanks to you and those who votes for me and also to those who casted honest votes …LOL .


=goddessaragon : No problem, you deserve it! So, how are you?

*kdso : Fuzzy as a peach…LOL ! Actually, I am tranquil, as always. But I am feeling as if I am being stalked, because I am going on a school picnic with my school mates and I feel weird when I have to attend a party, picnic or anything with too many known people because it feels like a rat race for gaining attention, I don't know why can't feel normal.


=goddessaragon : Normal isn't always best Would you like to tell us your first name?

*kdso : Its Kawaldeep, It’s an Indian name, ethnically punjabi.


=goddessaragon : Sounds awesome to me When did you start deviantArt?

*kdso : I made an account 2 years back, but I became active only 6 months ago. I always liked deviantart but my internet charges were too high.. my internet provider charged me Rupee. 1 for 1 MB, that would make $1 for 49 MBs. BUt now I have free download plan and everything is smooth and happening!

=goddessaragon : Oh that sucks sweetie, why did you start deviantArt?

*kdso : I think, I always had the talent and the society in which I live is too conservative and mostly consists of Doctors and engineers and everyone is like a sheep in a flock. Hardly anyone understands and appreciates my art as much. But after I joined dA, things have changed ( But I am the same , but just more evolved and more rebellious).


=goddessaragon : I think art is about expression and rebellious expression is the most interesting. So, where are you from?

*kdso : India, but for me boundaries are just the lines drawn on the Map. And nationalism is just an allegience and trust in the government and not an internal feeling.
I live in Jammu, it’s a small town in northernmost part of India. But I want to live in all the places of the world, shifting from one place to another, every single month!


=goddessaragon : Interesting. A traveler. What kind of message do you like to send about yourself through your artwork?

*kdso : Now! that’s the question I was looking for!!! I want people to understand the importance of questioning their idols or their beliefs.
The forcible inheritance of religions, beliefs and cultures from the parents to the children makes me feel bad about this world. I think, it’s not that, the parents force their children to do so, or scold them for talking sacrilegious or not following their faith, but I think, sometimes its under the peer pressure ,social stigmas or just the weakness they feel when they feel for choosing their faith that they tend to follow that of their parents. And the weakness comes from the way they are raised up when they are young and it resides in their minds, unknown to them.
I like to give the message of individualism through my art, because I see peace and unity in individuality, creativity in rebellion and hypocrisy in kindness.

=goddessaragon : Not all kindness is hypocritical. What kind of art do you like to do?

*kdso : For me, my personality is my canvas, and I want to make it a unique piece of art.

=goddessaragon : That's good you can express yourself in this way. Who has been your inspiration as far as artwork?

*kdso : It would have been better if you asked me WHAT instead of WHO. But I surely have influence of certain people on my life-style an artwork. The list includes Marilyn Masnon, Paulo Coelho and IAMX (Chris corner).
Three of them have a complex and artistic personality, and for me too , my personality is my canvas.


=goddessaragon : A good variety. Any influences growing up?

*kdso : I am a conformist and I had a lot of influences. The latest ones include- Pastafarism (a religion) ,Moldy peaches (an indie band) ,Wiccan faith, Budhha .


=goddessaragon : Music is always good inspiration. Who is your favorite artist right now?

*kdso : It’s me (seriously) .


=goddessaragon : Self confidence FTW Are you involved in any contests right now?

*kdso : Yeah! I have sent my entry for the Dreams contest organized by Wacom and here's my entry-
I dream of one world with no boundaries.


=goddessaragon : I did see that, wonderful entry What is your community involvement like?

*kdso : I am a very non social person in real life. I always differ in ideas and thinking from others and sometimes others see me as a hypocrite. But those who see the truth in my beliefs know my potential and intensity.
And I am glad to be a part of deviantart , because I meet many people who understand me and my beliefs.


=goddessaragon : Is there anything else you'd want people to know about you?

*kdso : I won’t give any suggestions/ quotations / anecdotes at the end of my interview, like others do. Instead, I would like others to speak up and express themselves and believe in what they rely and not what I rely in!
